Spring Check-in
Spring is in full swing, and things are definitely picking up speed around here! With so much happening at Tucker Pride, we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes to keep everything moving forward.
We had an amazing time at our recent Youth Game Day at Infinite Realities. We also loved the turnout at our March wine tasting at Wine & Whimseys—thank you to everyone who came out and made these events fun and welcoming.
And we’re not slowing down—we’re already hard at work planning our next event in April and May. Stay tuned… you won’t want to miss them!
Growing our Board
Speaking of spring, we’ve been doing a little growing of our own.
We’re excited to welcome two new members to the Tucker Pride Board of Directors—Ray Roberts (they/them) and Ray Amell (he/him)!
Ray and Ray (yes, we know—we’re doubling up in the best way) bring fresh energy, new perspectives, and a shared passion for community engagement that will help guide Tucker Pride as we continue to grow. From expanding our programs to strengthening our connections across Tucker, their voices and experiences will play an important role in what comes next.
We’re thrilled to have them on board—and even more excited for what we’ll build together. Read our official announcement.
Tucker Day 2026
Tucker Day is right around the corner—less than a month away! This will be our third year showing up, and we’re ready to make it our biggest one yet. If you need a reminder, Tucker Day will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, 9AM-4PM. Visit the Tucker Day website for more details about the event.
You’ll find Tucker Pride on First Avenue off Main Street, right next to our friends at Free Mom Hugs. Come by the booth to say hello, grab a mom hug, and spend some time celebrating community with us.
If you’ve got a Tucker Pride shirt, this is the perfect day to wear it and show your colors. If not, no worries—we’ll have shirts available at the booth for your $20 donation. Not to mention, our oval car magnets ($5), 30084 and 30087 zip code magnets ($3), and koozies ($3)! We’ll even have our yard signs ($20) if you want to make a big impact in your neighborhood.
We’ll also be walking in the Tucker Day parade, and we’d love to have you join us. If you’re interested in being part of the lineup, reach out so we can get you added to the list.
Let’s show up, stand out, and celebrate together—loud, proud, and in full color.
LGBTQIA+ Youth and Young Adult Social Mixer and Game Day
On Sunday, April 19th, Tucker Pride is bringing back our Youth Social Mixer & Game Day for LGBTQIA+ youth and young adults! Join us from 1–4 PM at Infinite Realities for an afternoon built around connection, laughter, and just the right amount of friendly competition.
Got a favorite game? Bring it. Have something totally unexpected? Even better. As long as we can play it together in the time we’ve got, it’s fair game.
Take a look at our Facebook event page for the details—and come ready to jump in, meet new people, and have a great time.
Tucker Pride’s Activity and Coloring Book
Last month, we introduced our community activity and coloring book—and now it’s time to bring it to life. We need your help in two big ways.
First—our call for young artists is officially open!
This project is built by the community, for the community, and we’re counting on young artists to help shape what goes inside. If you know a young creative—whether in your family, neighborhood, or network—encourage them to jump in and submit their artwork. You can find submission details and guidelines on our website.
Second—we need your support to grow this project.
Thanks to a generous contribution from Infinite Realities, we’re able to produce an initial run of books. Now, we’re looking to expand that reach—printing more copies and getting them into the hands of as many youth as possible.
These books will be completely free to the community—and they are designed to be something meaningful that kids can keep, revisit, and truly call their own. But while they’re free to receive, they’re not free to produce.
At select donation tiers, you have the opportunity to include your name along with a short dedication or affirmation in the book. It’s a meaningful way to show your support—turning each copy into something even more personal, and something young readers can hold onto as a reminder of the community behind it.
If you’re able to contribute, please visit tuckerpride.org/donate. Every dollar directly increases how many books we can print, how far they can go, and how much impact we can make—not just with this project, but across all of Tucker Pride’s programs.
Visit our donation page to view our sponsorship recognition tiers and see who is helping make this project possible. Click the donate button on that page to get your name on the list (or to move it up a notch)!
Cheers!
